ZINC CIRCUIT EXPANSION Mullen, Idaho

Service Provided

• Phoenix Industrial provided civil, concrete, structural steel, mechanical, piping and electrical services to expand the existing zinc circuit process capabilities for Hecla Mining’s existing silver mine operation. The work included:
  Work included:
  • 500 cubic yards of concrete for new building and equipment foundations, along with elevated platform slab.
  • Supply and installation of 450 tons of structural steel for building expansion and work platforms.
  • Installation of zinc press, thickener tanks, column cells, rotating equipment and on-stream analyzer equipment.
  • Supply and installation of 15,000 LF of large and small bore process piping, valves and fittings.
  • Installation of new Motor Control Center.
