- Phoenix Industrial has been the primary maintenance and capital construction contractor for client's seven gas production plants in Portland,
Oregon and Vancouver, Washington.
Work included:
- Relocation and installation of an oxygen production unit from Nampa, Idaho to Hillsboro, Oregon. Duties included disassembly of cold box,
compressor, and air make-up units; match-marking mechanical equipment and piping; and transportation and reassembly of all equipment.
- Fabrication and installation of gas-train piping for air heater units
- Inspection and structural modifications to air heaters
- Inspection services for cold boxes, including refurbishment of pearlite media
- Replaced motors on air compressors
- Removal, inspection and repair of tube bundles for Atlas-Copco compressors
- Fabrication and installation of structural platforms, stairways and handrail
