HRSG EVAPORATOR REPAIRS

Service Provided
  • Responsible for mechanical and piping services for two annual plant shutdowns of a 75 MW gas-fired power facility
  • Replaced twenty tube sections on LP Evaporator section of the HRSG
  • Cut out and replaced existing 3.5" carbon steel tubes and replaced with 2.25" chrome material
  • All welding was completed in accordance with ASME and NBIC codes. All welds passed x-ray inspection and no rework required
  • Replaced internal piping on the LP drum
  • Replaced six steam-pressure release valves
  • Installed 1" chrome drain line for 24" high-pressure steam pipe
  • Installed four 1" drains and chrome piping for the condenser. All work was completed under Phoenix's R stamp
