- Responsible for the civil, structural and mechanical construction of a 16.5 MW co-generating coal-fired power facility
- Excavation and installation of all concrete foundations for the boiler and turbine buildings, warehouse, scrubber
and maintenance building. Included formwork, rebar, embeds, and pouring 5,000 cubic yards of 4000 PSI concrete
- Erected 125 tons structural steel for above listed buildings
- Relocation and extensive refurbishment of structural steel and equipment from existing facility
- Installation of a 160,000 lb/hr Babcock & Wilcox boiler, superheater, economizer, baghouse, boiler feedwater pumps
and 110' high exhaust stack
- Completion of 800 code welds ranging from 1/2" to 10" diameter on carbon, chrome and stainless materials. Performed
post-weld heat treatment on tube-wall headers and turbine main steam line
- All welding was completed in accordance with B31.1 and Section 1 of the ASME Code
