Alaska Sand and Gravel Anchorage Dome

Cement

Phoenix safely and successfully installed mechanical, piping, structural, and electrical works for a new cement dome storage and offloading system. We met the client’s tight schedule milestone to offload their first ship after completion of construction and startup. We tied into an existing 12” supply line to divert cement into both the new dome and the truck load-out bay. Phoenix also installed a new air handling system, and placed a new reclaim shaft and screw conveyor inside the dome. Additionally, we installed the head house and drive unit, including the pipe bridge and walkway on top of the dome. Phoenix electricians procured and installed all power systems and control elements to support this project. Self-performed work included the mechanical, piping, structural and electrical.
